White-label reports have arrived on Koalati!

PDF reports are a simple and effective way to convey a website's issues to clients and coworkers. Although Koalati has been offering the possibility of generating such reports for quite a while now, this feature was not really up to snuff.

Over the past few weeks, a lot of work has been put in to improve the PDF reports on Koalati. Those efforts have finally paid off, and today, we are glad to present you the updated version of our reports feature!

Before we dive into some of the details, here is a quick overview of the changes that have been made:

  • Results grouping: you can now group results by error type, allowing you to easily generate a short and easy-to-read summary of the issues on your site.
  • Detail options: you can now select the level of detail you would like to display in your report. You need a short report for a client to look at? No problem! Need a detailed report so your developers can easily find and fix the issues? You got it!
  • Cover page: reports now have a cover page, so your reports look cleaner and more professional.
  • Whitelabeling*: you can now replace Koalati's branding with your own in the PDF reports. Prefer not having any branding at all? You can do that too!

So, now that you know what the new features are, let us give you a preview of what we consider to be the most important one...

White-label Website Reports

The white labeling feature for PDF reports can be very interesting if you want to easily generate professional reports to show your clients. Koalati's reports are already a great tool for sales teams in web agencies, and now, whitelabeling takes it to the next step. In just a few minutes, you can customize all of the reports you generate: change the colors, add your company's name and logo, etc.

To get started, premium users can go to the newly added Reports Whitelabeling section. There, they will find a simple form that they can fill and play around with in order to adjust their customization options. A preview of their reports cover page is displayed beside that form, so you can see the changes you are making in real time. Here's a preview of that process:

* Whitelabeling is a premium feature. Users on the free plan will not be able to change the Koalati branding that appears by default on PDF reports.
