Creating a project

The first thing you'll want to do to get started on Koalati is to create a project. To do so, simply follow the Project Creation Wizard's three easy steps.

Once your project is created, you will automatically be redirected to the Project Summary page. Our system will start analyzing your website, and you should see an overview of the results appear on the screen in real time.

Navigating your results

There will be two interfaces you'll be interested in once your website has been analyzed: Project Summary and Detailed Results.

The Project Summary gives you an overview of the results we have prepared for you. For each category, you will see the number of errors and warnings, as well as an average score that gives you an idea of how your website's pages are doing.

The Detailed Results for a category can be accessed by clicking the "View Details" link inside the Project Summary. There, you will find a list of all the pages we have analyzed on your website. When you click on one of those pages, a detailed list of the issues we have detected on that page will appear - usually with a recommendation on what you should do to correct the issue.

Generating a PDF report

Whether it's to send to a client or to use a tool for a sales meeting, a PDF report of the issues on a website can be incredibly useful.

Luckily for you, generating a PDF report on Koalati is quite simple. Open the Reports section of your project, select the level of detail you want included in your report, and press "Generate a report". That's it!

If you need to remove Koalati branding from your reports, or personalize their appearance, the Premium plan allows you to do just that.

Setting up website maintenance

Another feature that the Premium plan offers is the ability to set up cron jobs to automatically check for issues on your website every day, week or month. This way, if we detect any new issues or changes over time, we can notify you automatically via email.

To set this up, go to the Crons section of your project and select your desired frequency. Then... you're done: it's as simple as that!

You're all set!

At this point, you should be all set!
